Bora Bora, no question.
Stuck in elevator with…?
My grandfather—he always had the best stories.
Favorite moment to shoot at wedding?
The few seconds after the end of the ceremony, when the bride and groom walk back down the isle. There is such a wonderful mix of excitement and emotion at this moment that the last thing the bride and groom are thinking about is the camera.
What I love most about being a photographer…
Presenting to my clients the unique way that I saw the beauty of their day and their connection with each other.
Favorite city to photograph and why?
Tokyo. I made a trip there years ago and didn’t get to shoot nearly as much as I would have liked to. I’d like to shoot in the Japanese countryside more than the city though, well outside of Tokyo.
Favorite movie?
Schindler’s List
Favorite travel destination?
Definitely Europe, especially Italy!
Stuck in elevator with…?
Thor. What girl wouldn’t want to get rescued by a handsome God?!

I love putting a smile on another person’s face by creating something beautiful that they enjoy and treasure for a lifetime. I can’t see a better job than that.

Greece! I’ve never been, because when I go, I’m pretty sure I won’t come back and people might start to miss me…
Stuck in elevator with…?
My dad, because with him everything’s an adventure! He would definitely be all about trying to break us out before rescuers could get to us.
Favorite moment to shoot at wedding?
I have two! First Look is one of my absolute favorite moments. It’s so special for the couple to get to see each other for the first time on their wedding day all dressed up and excited to get married, it’s a beautiful moment I always feel so lucky to be there for. My other favorite moment are the parent dances, such an emotional moment that has been decades in the making, it always makes me tear up, always! I’m a total sap I know 😉
What I love most about being a photographer…
Finding all those special moments and details that you didn’t realize even happened or didn’t realize that I captured. I love the real candid moments of love, laughter and emotion & I pride myself on being there in that moment and thinking about you looking at your photos a decade from now and smiling at all those details & moments on your wedding day that you just cherish. Photography is so rewarding for me, I just love being able to give my clients photos of memories captured that they will cherish forever.
Favorite city to photograph and why?
This is a tough question! How I see it, even in the most run down, old, dirty or not traditionally beautiful areas, there’s always some beauty to be found somewhere & there’s always something cool to photograph no matter where you are. With that being said, I’d say Antigua was one of my favorite places to shoot so far, it was like being in a different time period altogether and its natives were so fascinating. I just walked around and did some street photography for hours, it was incredible.
Favorite movie?
I’m not much of a TV person so I haven’t seen very many. I’ll have to go with 50 First Dates
Favorite travel destination?
Greece for sure
Stuck in elevator with…?
ICE CREAM!! Cause I like ice cream (a lot) so I’d forget that I was stuck.
Favorite moment to shoot at wedding?
First Look— I love when the bride and groom really get to have a moment together, just the two of them, and take in the fact that this day is finally here and they’re about to get married. Second favorite, father-daughter dance. It gets me every time!
What I love most about being a photographer…
Being able to capture the special moments that no one else sees, and then delivering the images and having my client able to cherish those forever.
Favorite city to photograph and why?
Chicago! Because its my favorite city in America— it’s so clean, yet still has that city feel! And we photographed during tulip season so it was even more amazing!!

I love photographing the bride and groom together after their wedding ceremony. Any anxiety from the day has melted away, and getting to see them realize that they did it – they’re actually married! – is so much fun.
What I love most about being a photographer…
I love capturing the little details or moments that might have otherwise been missed. Those are the pictures that help tell the complete story of the day, and I love finding those little things that fill in all the rich details of the most important day of our couples’ lives!
Favorite city to photograph and why?
I got to explore Edinburgh once for a few days, by myself with my camera, and it was amazing. There were tons of tucked-away alleys and courtyards to explore, and the city had a totally unique, moody vibe that I loved.
